Gooooogle ....as everybody out there must be familiar with is a true winner in the Web space.
It must have taken Google over a year or so ....to break into traditional Yahoo dominance in the Web arena,but it has done this in style and with annoying ease.
thing that really puts google on top is their sheer simplicity ,they are not into complex operating systems nor they are into boring excel sheets,adventorous gaming ..and still they have managed to make it to the top.
Simplicity and Search- formula has worked for these people.i thinkthey have successfully established themselves in everybody's mind,nowadays when i think of search or for that matter any damm thing i just google .................
and the way these people are going i think M and Y will have to come together to take this giant head on.
They are developing applications which are required pratically every hour for any indiviual whether he or she is an Asian,European or an American -horoscopes,weather forecasts,dictionaries,tip of day and what not ..............these are very ordinary and most neglected at times but suddenly when you have all of them available on a single click it makes a huge contribution in managing every minute of your schedule ...makes sense ...definately there is a lot of thought process gone in while developing iGoogle ........i think it has the potential to revolutionize even internet surfing.
It will redefine what customization is all about ............just imagine if you r able to open word,excel,all other applications through iGoolge ..................is it possible !!!!
i think M will be having sleeples nights but they are seasoned players and will come out with something ......niche.....(need not neccesarily be original ).
Anyways for now the way google is going ....search,calenders,mails,messengers,everyday applications ...it is literally creeping into an indiviuals daily routine ,the things which we do everyday and never thought of that this could be done on the internet as well are tapped by google i think this is one of their strategies 'penetrate into a CEO's,techie's,Industrialist's,politician's ,common man's routine find simmilarities in all these walks of life and bring them on internet such as reading new papers,watching horoscopes,clocks,to do notes,music,etc...........'.
it is becoming a mania...........and even all those techies who once dreamt of joining a Microsoft or a Yahoo are now slowly turning their heads....to this little giant ........
